February Reflections

Hello Loves,

Phew! February was A LOT!

When you say 2024 is a year of ACTION, you better be prepared. Ha!

I bought a home and had one month to pack up my entire household and move. I sold all of my furniture (except my mattress) and purged my stuff. My mantra was: Sell, Donate, Gift. I had the final walkthrough of my new place, took car loads of boxes over and a final truck load. Oh wow did my muscles ache for days after that. I’m currently in my pretty new space:) I’m excited to get creative, decorate it and make it my sanctuary.

And speaking of creativity, I had an amazing social media marketing session with Lorri Klassen to learn how to better market my products on my website. I love learning new things. While I was in the current of packing and moving I still made time for movement. February marked 100 days of walking every day! This commitment to myself started off as a chore and turned into a must do. Every day I would know it was time for a walk, like an inner timer going off to go outside. I also started a women’s silent walking meditation group. We went on long walks in total silence and enjoyed our energetic company while witnessing the peace of nature – birds, water, trees, grass, fields, mountains, sunlight, clouds. I love these walks too.

I also celebrated the Lunar New Year – feasts for days with family and friends, sharing and eating the most delicious foods and desserts and enjoying the best conversations. I love Lunar New Year!

And to top off the month of February with moving and creativity and movement and holidays, I went and saw MADONNA! Can you believe it? She is a sixty-five-year-old ripped, powerhouse pop star! What a concert with her beautiful voice and music spanning her forty year career. Such a blessing to see her.

I just realized that these monthly reflections are actually a monthly gratitude list for this big and beautiful life of mine. Thank you for following along.
