Wait, didn’t I tell you? I’m getting married!

I’m so flippin excited and blessed to marry my beautiful, loving partner. We have been preparing for our August wedding day for over a year. We sent out the invites, rented the hall, and found a caterer.

But this June has been a busy month. I bought my wedding dress! Everyone told me I was insane for waiting so long, but guess what, I found the perfect one. I slipped that beauty on and it was instant love. Think ivory/honey lace, bohemian, with a low back and a cathedral train. (Insert hand clap here)

And we got rings! After searching through many jewelry shops, and trying on so, so many bands, we found the ones we want to keep on our fingers forever. They are simple and elegant. I’m so excited to wear them.

We also ordered our wedding cake! (Okay, it’s a lot of exclamations but I’m getting married!) We chose a cake house that blends European recipes with Asian techniques. There will be three layers and floral decorations. My mouth is watering just thinking about that fluffy goodness.

What else? We bought gifts for our guests, hired a photographer and a DJ and a commissioner. See I told you, June has been busy.

I am so happy that our friends from the U.S. and Canada and Taiwan are coming for our special day. We are going to celebrate our love with our closest friends and family in a small, intimate wedding. We will eat and dance and be merry!
